In order to thoroughly implement the national policies for stabilizing the growth of foreign trade and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of foreign trade enterprises in the entire region, from March 10th to 12th, the "2025 Regional Foreign Trade Business Training Course" hosted by the Department of Commerce of the Autonomous Region officially kicked off in Hohhot. More than a hundred people, including the heads of commerce departments of various leagues and cities in the region and representatives of foreign trade enterprises, participated in the meeting to jointly explore new paths for the development of foreign trade under the new situation.
On March 10th, the participating representatives arrived at the conference hotel one after another to register and collect the conference materials. On the morning of March 11th, the training course opened with the mobilization speech delivered by Hu Yingfeng, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of the Autonomous Region. Hu Yingfeng emphasized that given the complex and volatile current international economic and trade environment, foreign trade enterprises in the region need to seize policy opportunities, strengthen innovation-driven development, and lay a good foundation for the high-quality development of foreign trade in 2025.
Subsequently, Ding Xiaolong, Director of the Foreign Trade Department of the Department of Commerce of the Autonomous Region, conducted an in-depth analysis of the foreign trade situation in Inner Mongolia and arranged the key tasks for 2025; Ma Ying from the Inner Mongolia Financial Supervision Bureau provided a detailed interpretation of the financial policies for stabilizing and increasing foreign trade. Expert teams from the Head Office of the Bank of China and the Inner Mongolia Branch respectively gave special lectures on topics such as "Macroeconomic and Foreign Exchange Trends", "Facilitation of Cross-border Investment and Financing", and "Inclusive Finance Supporting Foreign Trade Enterprises", providing practical financial solutions for enterprises. In the afternoon, Bai Ming, an expert from the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered a speech titled "New Situation and New Hotspots in the Development of Foreign Economic and Trade in 2025", analyzing the changes in the international economic and trade landscape and bringing forward-looking insights to the participants. The first day's agenda ended with the "Symposium for Foreign Trade Enterprises", during which the government and enterprises had in-depth exchanges on practical difficulties.
On March 12th, the training focused on hot topics such as cross-border e-commerce, credit insurance, and customs clearance facilitation. Su Jing, CEO of Leyinghui Cross-border, analyzed the new development trends of cross-border e-commerce by combining industry cases; Liu Zhenchao from China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation systematically introduced the application scenarios of policy-based export credit insurance. Ma Jin from the China Quality Certification Center explored the development path of "integration of domestic and foreign trade" from the perspective of standardization.
An Xiaoting from Hohhot Customs and Wu Jingjing from the Export-Import Bank of China respectively interpreted the optimization of the business environment at ports and policy-based financial products to help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency. Li Jiao from the Inner Mongolia Import and Export Enterprises Association recommended the participation strategies for the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair). Pan Yuemei from the Department of Commerce of the Autonomous Region, together with expert Liu Ruiyun from an accounting firm, provided a practical analysis of the policies for special funds for foreign economic and trade. On the evening of the same day, the deputy leaders in charge of commerce departments of various leagues and cities also participated in the "Meeting on the Deployment of Key Foreign Trade Tasks in the Region", further clarifying the annual task objectives.
The training courses this time are closely tailored to the needs of enterprises, not only having a high level of policy theory but also having practical guiding significance. Through forms such as dialogues between the government and enterprises, lectures by experts, and case sharing, the participating representatives have comprehensively grasped the cutting-edge trends and policy tools of foreign trade, laying a solid foundation for stabilizing the scale, optimizing the structure, and improving the quality and efficiency of foreign trade in the region in 2025. The Department of Commerce of the Autonomous Region stated that it will continue to strengthen service guarantees, promote the implementation of policies, and help Inner Mongolia's foreign trade achieve high-quality development in a complex environment.
