On November 14, the "Rare Earth High-Tech Zone Enterprise Symposium on Promoting High-Quality Development of an Open Economy," jointly organized by Baotou Customs, Baotou Commerce Bureau, Baotou Trade Promotion Council, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange Baotou Branch, was successfully held. The event brought together representatives from multiple key enterprises in the zone to discuss strategies for development, with the company's marketing department attending on behalf of the organization.

The symposium aimed to establish an efficient and direct platform for communication between the government and enterprises. The core agenda focused on in-depth interpretation and exchange of new policies and trends related to the current development of an open economy. Representatives from the organizing units took the stage to elaborate on a series of recent national and local policies and facilitation measures in areas such as foreign trade, cross-border settlements, export customs clearance, and commercial legal services. These insights were provided to help enterprises better grasp policy opportunities and fully leverage available benefits.

During the session dedicated to hearing from enterprises, attendees actively shared the practical challenges they face in their import and export operations. Issues raised covered various aspects, including customs clearance efficiency, foreign exchange management, tax compliance, and international market expansion. Representatives from the relevant departments listened attentively to the enterprises' concerns and suggestions, addressing common issues on the spot and pledging to review and study the feedback to continuously optimize service processes and resolve difficulties for businesses.

The meeting not only disseminated the latest policy directions in a timely manner but also effectively identified the pain points and obstacles in enterprise development. It served as a critical reference for the Rare Earth High-Tech Zone to further improve its business environment and formulate targeted support policies, marking a solid step forward in advancing the region's open economy toward higher quality and deeper development.
