On November 6-7, the 6th National Rare Earth Standardization Technical Committee General Meeting and 2024 Annual Meeting were successfully held in Haikou City, Hainan Province. The conference is hosted by the National Rare Earth Standardization Technical Committee, Nonferrous Metal Technology and Economic Research Institute Co., Ltd., and China Nonferrous Metal Industry Standard Metrology Quality Research Institute. More than 140 standardization representatives from the rare earth industry attended the conference.
At this meeting, our Vice General Manager Zhang Xiaofan was elected as a member of the 6th National Rare Earth Standardization Technical Committee, and our General Manager Hao Qian served as an advisor for this rare earth standard meeting.
The meeting discussed the work report of the Secretariat of the National Rare Earth Standardization Committee, listened to work suggestions, reviewed the rare earth standard system and planning, implemented tasks for the national standard plan projects, finalized the standard projects that will be technically approved in 2024, and reviewed the rare earth national standards. The meeting also discussed the 2025 rare earth national, industry, and association standard projects, and conducted preliminary review or approval of rare earth national and industry standard projects in groups.
