On September 4-5, our general manager Hao Qian attended the 6th 2024 Rare Earth standards working meeting 2024 in Leshan, Sichuan Province. The conference was Non-ferrous metal by the National Rare Earth Standards Commission and the Institute of Technology and Economics, and co-hosted by Sichuan Leshan Ruifeng Metallurgy Co. , Ltd. . Nearly 80 experts from all over the country gathered together to discuss the latest progress and future direction of rare earth standardization work. The meeting was chaired by Song Guanyu, secretary-general of the National Rare Earth bid committee.
Speaking on behalf of the co-organisers, Xu Siyu, deputy general manager of the Ruifeng Metallurgical Co. , Ltd. , Leshan, introduced Leshan's unique local customs and demonstrated the city's cultural heritage and natural scenery. Stressing the key role of standardization in the rare earth industry, and noting that, with the increasing global demand for rare earth resources, standardization will not only contribute to improving product quality and market competitiveness, ruifeng Metallurgical Company of Leshan will continue to participate in the standardization work and contribute to the healthy development of the industry. This meeting of the Standards Division I was mainly responsible for the chemical analysis of rare earth sulphide, lithium sodium zinc determination of atomic absorption method drafting.
The atomic spectrometric method of lithium sodium and zinc was carried out at this meeting and its validation was completed in June next year.
