Hongbot led the start-up meeting of the rare earth sulfide standard system construction project.

On the morning of August 14, 2025, the "Start-up for the Construction of Rare Earth Sulfide Standard System Project" was successfully held in the conference room of Lucheng Laboratory. The leaders participating in this meeting included Fei Y, the director of the Standards Department of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau, Li Bing, the representative of the Inner Mongolia Rare Earth Industry Association, Liuoyu, the director of Lucheng Laboratory, Lu Ling, the host of this start-up meeting, Liu Jiangang, the chairman of Hongbot Technology Co, Ltd., Hao Qian, the general manager, Zhang Xiaofan, the deputy general manager, and others.

Rare earth sulfides, with their unique, stable, and environmentally friendly characteristics (non-toxic and harmless), show great application potential and market value in high-end pigments, plastic coloring, cosmetics, coat, special glass, and other fields, and are an important direction for the high-value application of rare earths. However, at present, there is still a lack of systematic for product grading, detection methods, and application norms of rare earth sulfides at home and abroad, which seriously restricts the scale, standardization, and international competitiveness of the industry

As a pioneer and technology leader in the field of industrialization of rare earth sulfides in China, Hongbot Technology Co., Ltd., relying on its deep R& accumulation and industrialization experience, has taken the initiative to undertake the important task of leading the construction of the standard system. This start-up meeting clarified the project goals:

1 Construct a complete system: systematically plan a standard system framework covering the whole chain of rare earth sulfide raw materials, production processes, product quality, detection methods, and application evaluation

2. Develop core standards: prioritize the development of key product standards (such as sulfide cerium for pigments) and basic detection method standards.

3. Promote alignment: strive to push the formed national standards/industry standards to the international level and enhance China's discourse power in this field.

4. Standardize industry development: unified standards for the production, trade, and application of rare earth sulfide products.

Fei Yi, the director of the Standards Department of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Market Supervision Bureau, emphasized at the start-up meeting: "Standardization is the cornerstone of high-quality industry development. Supporting Hongbot Technology Co., Ltd to lead the construction of the rare earth sulfide standard system is an important measure for the autonomous region to implement the national new material strategy and promote the high-end development of the earth industry. It is hoped that the project team will adhere to the principles of innovation-led, scientific and rigorous, and open cooperation, complete the task of system construction with quality and efficiency, and create a "Chinese standard" with advanced, applicable, and international influence, contributing to the upgrading of the new material industry in the autonomous region and even the country."
